Information we collect

• Email address — when you join the waitlist or subscribe to updates.
• Account & license details — when you purchase, we receive your name, email, country, and a license/order identifier needed to deliver and activate your license.
• Payment information — payments are processed by our third-party merchant of record. We never see or store your full card details; we receive only a confirmation and the limited order data above.
• Usage & device data — privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (aggregate page views and events), and, for activation, basic technical data such as app version and an anonymized device identifier.
• Support communications — anything you send us by email or community channels.

How we use it

• To deliver, activate, and support the software and your license.
• To send the emails you asked for (waitlist, release notes, receipts).
• To understand aggregate traffic and improve the product and site.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to prevent abuse or fraud.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary with service providers who process it on our behalf: our merchant of record (payments, invoicing, tax), our email service provider, our analytics provider, and our hosting/CDN provider. Each is bound to use it only to provide their service. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email. To exercise any right, email privacy@diamond-daw.com and we'll respond within the period required by applicable law.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, license and order records for as long as your license is active and as required for tax/accounting, and waitlist emails until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

The marketing site uses privacy-friendly analytics that do not set tracking cookies and do not build cross-site profiles. Checkout and account pages provided by our payment processor may use cookies necessary for those functions.

Children

Diamond DAW is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, announced by email.
